He studied at the Business Faculty of the University of Economics in Bratislava, Department of Internal Trade Economics (1984-1988). After graduation, he worked as a researcher at the Research Institute of Tourism and Catering. Later he worked as an independent credit officer at Všeobecná úverová banka. In 1992 he joined the Department of Services and Tourism at the Faculty of Business. University of Economics in Bratislava as where he gave lectures and led seminars and final theses focused on tourism. He publishes in professional journals and proceedings, he is the author or co-author of several textbooks. He participates at scientific conferences, professional seminars, many scientific research projects, he has organized scientific events in cooperation with economic practice.
He has taught at Guide to Tourism courses, retraining courses and the University of the Third Age, and has organized several professional excursions for students.
At the Institute of Management of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius has been working in Trnava since September 20, 2021 as a teacher of subjects focused on Tourism and Hospitality Management.
