AETTER ALSO TEACHES PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS: THE AIM OF THE WORKSHOP WAS TO IMPROVE MEDIA SKILLS 😃👏😉

The Aetter - radio of Faculty of Mass Media Communication, which celebrates its eighth birthday this February, regularly organizes workshops or competitions for its members before a professional panel. On Tuesday 22nd January, the whole event was also prepared for pupils from four elementary schools.

Course at 9.30 am started by former radio director Dr. Andrej Brnik. The idea of organizing the event was based on his words for the simple reason: "It is important that we pass on our experiences further. In this way, we want to support the development of media education in elementary schools and to contribute to the emergence of new student radios."

After welcoming and presenting all participants, the long-standing member of the radio and his current director Miroslav Kapec took over the word. The morning block started with a lecture on How the radio works.

Another lecturer was the full-time Ph.D. student Ľubica Bôtošová. In addition to the radio Aetter also acts externally on the Radio Regina West. She gave valuable tips and tips on how to fit a good report, assembly, or poll. We asked why it is important to organize similar types of workshops. "Education in playful form is, in my opinion, always a good choice. When we were interested, we mainly heard the elementary schools that the school radios are planning or setting up. Based on today's experience, I can say that children enjoy this work. They were very creative and were most pleased when they could sit in a microphone studio."
