On March 13, 2019, a meeting was held between representatives of the United Kingdom Embassy in Slovakia and UCM representatives in Trnava.

Foreign delegation was created by Mrs. Viera Mockerová (Science and Innovation Officer), Mr. Alexander Hill and Coventry University Representatives, Mr. Paul Noon (Vice-Rector for Enterprise and Innovation) and prof. Siraj Ahmed Shaikh.
The meeting was led by prof. Ing. Roman Boča, DrSc, Rector of UCM. Furthermore, prof. RNDr. Peter Sýkora, PhD. (Vice-Rector for Quality and Science), JUDr. Marcel Vysocký, PhD. (Head of External Relations Department), prof. RNDr. Jiři Pospíchal, DrSc. and doc. RNDr., PaedDr. Ladislav Huraj, PhD. from the Department of Applied Informatics, Faculty of Natural Sciences of UCM.

The topic of the joint meeting was the issue of possible cooperation between universities, especially in the scientific and project fields (more specifically in the fields of security, anti-terrorism, cyber security, autonomous transport, bioethics).
