Dear colleagues, we would like to inform you that a new call for applications for scholarships for study, research and lecture stays during the summer semester of the academic year 2019/2020 was published within the National Mobility Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic.

The deadline for submitting applications is 31 October 2019 until 16:00, and stays will be available during the summer semester of the academic year 2019/2020. Applications for scholarships can be submitted on-line at http://www.stipendia.sk, resp. http://www.scholarships.sk.

The scholarships are intended for Slovak university students, Slovak university students (even if the doctoral study is carried out at an external educational institution within the meaning of the Higher Education Act, eg at the Slovak Academy of Sciences) and postdoctoral students to cover the living / study costs. Basic information about the program can be found in the enclosed leaflet. Applicants can obtain detailed information about the program on the official website of the program http://www.stipendia.sk, resp. http://www.scholarships.sk.

The National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic is also intended to support the mobility of foreign students, PhD students, university teachers and researchers. artistic workers for stays at Slovak universities and research workplaces.

The National Scholarship Program (NŠP) is a scholarship program whose establishment was approved by the Government of the Slovak Republic by Resolution no. 557 of July 13, 2005. 317 of 29 April 2009. The scholarship program is financed from the budget chapter of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. SAIA, n. o., administers the National Scholarship Program on the basis of a contract concluded between the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and SAIA, n. about. NŠP scholarships are scholarships of the Government of the Slovak Republic.

The next program deadline, which will take place on 30 April 2020, will focus on stays during the 2020/2021 academic year.
