On December 10, 2019, teachers and students from three Ukrainian universities - Lviv State Security University, Lviv State University I Frank and Rivnen State Humanitarian University - visited our department for the first time. The event was initiated by an excursion after Christmas Trnava, after which foreign students presented their universities, study opportunities and current life of individual departments. The art program was taken care of by our guests, who sang several Ukrainian folk songs and introduced their own, witty tunes about phraseology and lexicology. The meeting was in a friendly atmosphere. Both students and educators had the opportunity to meet and discuss new possibilities for cooperation at international level. At the end of meeting, there was a presentation about Kamchatka, which was recently visited by Professor J. Dohnal and he shared his experiences and impressions from this trip. We believe that this meeting is the first step towards the prospective cooperation of our department with the Ukrainian universities.
