University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava last year ranked 17th in Unirank 2019 and this year moved to the 12th place of universities in Slovakia.

UniRank™ is an international ranking featuring reviews and rankings of more than 13,600 officially recognized universities and colleges in 200 countries around the world. Unlike in other rankings, the ranking is not based on academic data provided by the universities themselves, but on valid, unbiased and inviolable web metrics provided by independent web resources. It is based on web presentation and popularity in terms of estimated traffic, credibility of resources, and popularity linked to quality.

What are the most popular Universities in Slovakia? uniRank tries to answer this question by publishing the 2020 Slovak University Ranking of 32 Slovak higher-education institutions meeting the following uniRank selection criteria:

• being chartered, licensed or accredited by the appropriate Slovak higher education-related organization
• offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees)
• delivering courses predominantly in a traditional, face-to-face, non-distance education format

The aim is to provide a non-academic League Table of the top Slovak Universities based on valid, unbiased and non-influenceable web metrics provided by independent web intelligence sources rather than data submitted by the Universities themselves.
