THE FIRST UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR AMONG UCM GRADUATES

On 29th of May, 2020, before the Scientific Board of University of Pavel Jozef Šafárik in Košice, successfully completed the appointment procedure as a professor in the field of Inorganic Chemistry assoc. prof. Mgr. Ján Titiš, PhD. from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, one of the first graduates of the UCM in Trnava (born 1979). The future professor works scientifically in the field of nanomagnetism and participates in the identification of the so-called single molecular magnets. He has published 71 scientific papers registered in the SCOPUS database, which are cited 1433 times.
