Foreign students studying full-time at a Slovak university can apply for a National scholarship program if they have a permanent residence in the Slovak Republic. In the case of EU citizens, it is sufficient to submit an EU citizen registration. Applicants can apply for a scholarship to any country in the world.

Within the CEEPUS program, foreign students can also complete stays in CEEPUS countries. More information can be obtained here: julia.neiplova(zav.)saia.sk.

In Germany, the possibility of a study stay at the master's level within the DAAD program is offered. Here, the applicant must have resided in the Slovak Republic for more than one year and have completed a bachelor's degree in Slovakia. Students of Slovak universities (including foreign ones on full-time study) who have completed 2 semesters of bachelor's studies can apply for summer language courses in Germany. It is also possible to complete stays for the preparation of a diploma thesis for students of Slovak universities in Austria. Foreign full-time students can also apply. As part of the Austria-Slovakia Event, there are also opportunities for summer language courses, but in 2021 these are intended for students and doctoral students in technical sciences.
