The epidemiological situation at UCM in Trnava is not critical and no outbreaks of COVID-19 have been identified.
For preventive reasons and on the recommendation of the Permanent Crisis Staff of the UCM from October 12, 2020 (Monday) the organization of teaching at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius and the transition to the distance form of education.

Information for accommodated students:

The Rector strongly recommends students from the Slovak Republic and foreign students of first and second degree study programs to immediately leave the University dormitory on Jozef Herda Square 2 in Trnava, no later than October 21, 2020 (Wednesday) due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation and risk of quarantine measures and forced isolation. By not leaving the accommodation facility, the student is exposed to the risk of forced quarantine measures or forced isolation of persons. The financial costs associated with forced isolation will be borne by the student (accommodation, all-day meals, disinfection and hygiene supplies). The recommendation to leave the boarding school does not apply to students who continue to attend full-time teaching in laboratories or are to take part in practical training.
