The first university professor among UCM graduates

On November 18, 2020, the President of the Slovak Republic Mrs. Zuzana Čaputová, appointed prof. RNDr. Ján Titiš, PhD. as a university professor in the field of Inorganic Chemistry. Prof. Titiš is the first graduate of the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, who became a university professor. He is 41 years old. He has published 75 scientific papers, mostly in foreign high-impact journals, his papers are cited 1578 times and his citation h-index is 22.

Prof. Titiš is the solver or main solver of several projects with grant support, supervisor of diploma and dissertation theses. He is also a part of the top scientific team of UCM, which consists of prof. Roman Boča, assoc.prof. Dušan Valigura and assoc.prof. Cyril Rajnák.
