The UCM graduate won an Olympic gold medal

Zuzana Rehák-Štefečeková won an Olympic gold medal in the trap. She won the first precious metal for the Slovak team at the Games in Tokyo in 2021.

For Rehák Štefečeková, this is the most significant success in her career and the third medal from the Olympics. She won silver in the same discipline in 2008 in Beijing and in 2012 in London.

The Slovak national team advanced to the finals from the first place in the new world record of 125 points. As the first shooter in history, she reached the maximum shot in the elimination and surpassed the performance of 123 Finnish Finn Satu Mäkelä-Nummel from March 2019. Her flawless series ended in the fifth final shot on goal 129.
