Prestigious award European Mark for Languages 2021 for the Faculty of Arts

The Department of German Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the UCM received the prestigious award European Mark for Languages 2021.

This succcess resulted from implementation and coordination of the Erasmus+ project (2018-1-SK01-KA201-046316) entitled „CLIL-oriented method in teaching foreign languages other than English“.

The aim of this project was to teach grammar school students from four different project countries certain thematically oriented skills and knowledge, which are rarely or not mentioned in the grammar school curriculum, using modern and effective didactic approaches.
The focus of the project is oriented towards two non-English foreign languages (German, Russian), which have a relatively strong position in the fields of economy and culture.

The award was presented on January 28th, 2022 at the International Conference Visions of Erasmus+.
