Opportunities for personal and professional growth at UCM

In accordance with the strategy of internationalization of research and education, UCM received ERASMUS+ support for the mobility of individuals within the framework of the 2022 Challenge in two projects.

Mobility of UCM to EU countries (scheme K131) was supported by the Slovak Academic Association for International Cooperation (SAAIC) with a total grant of 450,183 Euros. Students, employees and recent graduates can travel to European Union countries within the framework of this grant scheme in accordance with the conditions set by the grant agency and the university.

However, in the new academic year, those interested in studying and doing an internship abroad can also travel to countries outside the EU, i.e. more exotic countries in Asia (Bhutan, Malaysia), sub-Saharan African states (Kenya, Tanzania), but also the Russian Federation, Georgia and Ukraine; within the project scheme International Credit Mobility Erasmus+ (scheme K171), our university received the 4th highest grant among all applicants - universities in the Slovak Republic in the total amount of 351,875 EUR.

The study or internship of students and employees abroad is supported by UCM also in view of the university's required quality criteria.
