In the management program in tourism and hospitality, you will learn how to run your own business and work with people.

Our students will use their theoretical knowledge in the realization of their own semester projects. Here, they will verify whether their idea makes sense and can be successful in the reality of tourism. So far, students of the Institute of Management at UCM in Trnava have already carried out a number of projects, such as Coffee STOP, Clothes Swap at Baterkárna, Book Swap at Podivný Barón in Púchov, Travelers' Meeting, TOP excursion at Hotel Pod Lipou, and many others.

Practical education prepares students for entrepreneurship in gastronomy as well as other fields. The courses focus on business finance, economics, and accounting. In addition to practical training at the school itself, students can also gain experience at affiliated university facilities and even abroad. The school also offers the opportunity to complete certified courses that are required in the workplace.

The Institute of Management's equipment supports project-oriented and practical teaching. The classroom for team collaboration and development is divided into three parts: a space for creative work and idea generation, a room for project preparation, and the last is intended for project presentation. Computer science, statistics, accounting, information systems in tourism and hotel management, and logistics are taught in a modern computer lab. Students can also spend their free time together or individually in the relaxation room, which also contains a large number of useful books.
