The Gaudeamus Awards have found their laureates. Health care and journalism dominated

The purpose of the awards is to showcase the active and talented students at UCM and inspire others to be proactive.

During the ceremonial gala organized by the UCM Student Council, six awards were presented in the following categories:

Contribution to the University: Dominika Kurajda for her contribution to mental health development.

Student Organization of the Year: University magazine atteliér for its long-standing representation of the university and production of quality journalism.

Art: Nikol Pisoňová for her journalistic contributions and representation in the Štúrovo Pero competition.

Science: Ondrej Machovič for the Delta Clinic project and continuous work in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Sports: Branislav Čevela for the popularization of sports.

Student Leader: Erik Urc for his role as the student ombudsman.

The awards ceremony took place on April 27th in the Jozef Matúš Hall, accompanied by a rich cultural program featuring performances by the Trnafčan Folk Ensemble, Emmy Llure, and other talented artists. The laureates received their awards from prominent figures and UCM students, as well as representatives from Trnava, such as Rector Katarína Slobodová Nováková, Governor Jozef Viskupič, Vice-Rector for Science and Research Ildikó Matúšíková, and others.
