UCM informs about the amendment to the conditions of the call for the submission of project proposals supported by the internal institutional scheme of the University Research Support Fund (RSF), announced on October 13, 2023.

In connection with the call for the allocation of financial resources from the Recovery Plan mechanism (code of the call 09I03-03-V05), and in accordance with the new statute of the relevant internal UCM scheme, the starting grants from RSF UCM will be supported in 2024 up to 2000 Euros (for doctoral students) or 3000 Euros (employment up to 35 years of age).

Individuals eligible to request the specified grant amount include doctoral students in higher years (>1 year) of full-time study and employees up to 35 years of age within 5 years after obtaining a PhD degree. For students in the external form of doctoral studies and in the 1st year of doctoral studies, for researchers with a PhD degree obtained more than 5 years ago, as well as all individuals concurrently supported by the Recovery Plan mechanism, the maximum grant amount is limited to 1000 Euros.

In accordance with the RSF statute and the current guidelines, higher financial support is contingent upon the availability of resources from the Recovery Plan, a detailed description of planned activities, a planned budget, as well as the expected project results.

Applications are submitted electronically using the prescribed form to the following address: miroslava.svitekova(at)ucm.sk, and signed hard copies are submitted to the Department of Research and Development of UCM, 1st floor, room No. 116.

The final deadline for project proposals is December 1, 2023, at 12:00 PM. Projects submitted after this deadline will not be included in the selection process.
