Our university has donated a car to the Trnava Charitable Organization

In an effort to support the community and aid those in need, UCM proudly became a donor of a car to the Trnava Archdiocesan Charity.

The University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava is not only a place of education but also an institution committed to social responsibility. "We believe that the mission of every university includes creating connections with the local community," said the university's rector, Katarína Slobodová Nováková. "Our donation is one of the many ways we can give back to society and help those in need," she added.

The Trnava Archdiocesan Charity, which received the car, is well-known for its efforts to assist people in need. It has long been involved in caring for families in material distress, abandoned children, homeless or disabled individuals, as well as the elderly and the sick. The charity provides clients with charitable, social, healthcare, and educational services in its facilities throughout the region. The donation of the car is an example of how a university can be a driving force for positive change in its surroundings, inspiring other institutions and individuals to similar acts. The older car was retired from the university's assets as surplus and can now contribute to the daily operations of the Trnava Archdiocesan Charity.
