Trnava is a regional city located just 30 minutes by train from Bratislava. It offers the amenities of a large city while providing a peaceful atmosphere ideal for studying, as well as various forms of entertainment.
The city boasts a wide range of activities, from sports and social-cultural events to educational and self-development opportunities. Trnava is interconnected with bike paths that extend beyond the city limits. In the nearby area, you will find the Little Carpathians, perfect for a refreshing escape into nature.
In addition to our university, two other universities are located in Trnava, which undoubtedly gives it the status of a student city. It’s just a short distance from Piešťany, Nitra, Sereď, Senec, and Pezinok. Anything you may not find in Trnava can easily be found in the surrounding areas. The city is well-connected by train routes from the east, west, north, and south. Local and long-distance buses also stop here, and the D1 highway passes through Trnava, offering convenience for those who prefer driving their own car. However, outside of the larger residential areas, the city is concentrated around the center, and everything you need (and even things you don’t) is within walking distance. While a city bus system (MHD) is available, we doubt you'll even need to use it.
