  Vo vedeckej časti je študent povinný publikovať minimálne jeden experimentálny výstup vo vedeckom časopise registrovanom v databázach Web of Science a zaradenom v kvartiloch Q1-Q2 v JCF IF a minimálne jeden výstup vo vedeckom časopise registrovanom v databázach Web of Science alebo Scopus zaradeným do Q1-Q4 v JCF IF. V týchto publikovaných výstupoch, evidovaných v databázach Web of Science a Scopus, má doktorand primeraný autorský podiel podľa zvyklostí príslušného študijného programu, ktorý sa preukazuje výpisom z evidencie publikačnej činnosti z On-line katalógu Univerzitnej knižnice UCM alebo Centrálneho registra evidencie publikačnej činnosti (CREPČ).
  Študent je povinný za tvorivú činnosť získať minimálne 130 kreditov.
