During the webinar, you will be introduced primarily to the activities and outputs of the CARLiS project, in which SAIA, the University of Vienna, the Slovak Technical University, the Comenius University and the Slovak Academy of Sciences joined forces thanks to support from the INTERREG VA Slovakia-Austria program.

Together, they created and tested a training program that aims to help doctoral students develop skills for career paths outside the academic sector.

You will be presented with the "Guide to cross-sectoral career training", which contains a catalog of training in four areas: personal career management, soft skills, transfer of knowledge into practice and entrepreneurship. The guide also summarizes the experience from the pilot implementation of these trainings at the institutions involved in the project and offers practical tips for setting up similar training activities at other institutions.
