On April 20th, 2023, a "site visit" was conducted at our university by members of an external expert group whose task is to develop an expertise on the internal quality assurance system of higher education at UCM.

The creation of the external expert group and the development of the expertise is part of the project "Quality" - NFP312010BFQ3 Supporting the Internal Quality Assurance System of Higher Education at UCM, which aims to improve the functioning of our university in terms of meeting the standards of SAAVŠ, European standards, improving the quality of education and creative activity, and improving the conditions for UCM students and staff.

The coordinator of the expert group is Assoc. Prof. PhDr. Hana Marešová, Ph.D., MBA (UPOL, Czech Republic), and the members are Prof. Ing. Jaroslav Nenadál, CSc. (Czech Republic) and Assoc. Prof. Ing. Miroslav Hrnčiar, PhD. (Slovakia).

The aim of the on-site assessment was to supplement and clarify the available and accessible information and knowledge in the field of quality at UCM. The on-site assessment consisted of four blocks with specific representation:
1.     Internal quality system at UCM - representatives of UCM management and the chairman of the RVHK.
2.     Education - representatives of persons responsible for education in selected parts of UCM, teachers, and students.
3.     Creative activity - representatives of persons responsible for creative activity in selected parts of UCM, knowledge transfer, science, and research.
4.     Other related activities - representatives of UCM and selected parts of UCM responsible for personnel, legislation, and administration.

The external expertise has been ongoing since January 2023, and its results will be presented at UCM by the end of June 2023.

The on-site assessment and documentation for the expertise are being provided by the UCM Quality Department.
