Open Science refers to a new approach to the scientific process that focuses on the dissemination of knowledge, once it is available, through digital and technological collaboration. The results of publicly funded research are to be publicly available, as well as data to be based on similar FAIR principles, i.e. findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable.
Adoption of the principles of open science - dissemination, sharing, reuse and accessibility of science and research results, promotion of domestic and international scientific collaboration, means improving the accessibility of science results towards greater transparency, reproducibility, integrity and increasing the impact of UCM research potential.
