International Relations
The University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava subscribes to the principles of internationalisation in accordance with the Strategy for the Internationalisation of Higher Education in the Slovak Republic until 2030 and the OECD recommendations. Our ambition is to be a modern, accessible and high-quality university that provides education according to international standards and actively participates in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and the European Research Area (ERA).
UCM supports the development of global competences of students and teachers, especially through international mobility, internationalisation of the curriculum, digital forms of cooperation and international partnerships. At the same time, we are committed to inclusion - we also support those who have reduced opportunities to travel abroad.
In doing so, we create a diverse and stimulating academic environment that contributes to the development of teaching, research and society.

UCM expands its international reach and recruits students abroad
The Institute of Management of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava is expanding its educational offer with a new professionally oriented bachelor's study program in project management, which was approved by the Council for Internal Quality Assessment of the UCM in Trnava and subsequently entered into the register of study programs by the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic. The program will begin teaching in the academic year 2026/2027.
