  • Academic delegations from three universities in Kenya and Tanzania visited UCM within the Erasmus+ KA171 project

    In May and June 2025, UCM welcomed academic delegations from three universities in Kenya and Tanzania in the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 project (2022-1-SK01-KA171-HED-000069533).

    The first two delegations - from Mount Kenya University (Kenya) and Dar es Salaam University College of Education (Tanzania) - visited UCM from 14 to 29 May 2025. Their stay included bilateral meetings, educational and cultural activities, as well as institutional visits to several UCM faculties. The International Department (OMV UCM) provided full administrative and logistical support and actively participated in key events throughout the programme.

    The third delegation from Kenyatta University (Kenya) arrived on 1 June and stayed until 14 June 2025. During their stay, discussions focused mainly on deepening academic cooperation, exploring opportunities for joint research and expanding mobility for staff and students.

    These visits significantly strengthened existing partnerships and laid the foundations for further cooperation in research, education and exchange programmes under the Erasmus+ initiative.

 

  • A delegation from the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE), Ukraine, visited UCM to strengthen academic cooperation

    From 2 to 6 June 2025, UCM welcomed a delegation from the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE) in Rivne, Ukraine, as part of a developing partnership that has been formalised by a Memorandum of Understanding.

    The delegation consisted of prof. Nataliia Savina, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations and representative of the NUWEE Institute of Management, prof. Dmytro Nikytenko from the NUWEE Department of Business Economics and International Business, and Halyna Vlasiuk, representative of the Centre for International Cooperation and Education.

    They were received at the UCM by Assoc. PhDr. Andrea Chaykova, PhD, Vice-Rector for International Relations, together with the staff of the UCM OMV Department. The programme also included working meetings with representatives of the UCM Institute of Management, where both sides discussed opportunities for joint research, project activities and exchange of experience.

    During the visit, intensive work was carried out on the preparation of inter-institutional agreement, which is to serve as a framework for future mobility of students and staff and also as a starting point for other forms of cooperation within the Erasmus+ programme.

    The visit contributed significantly to the deepening of relations between UCM and NUWEE and opened new perspectives for bilateral academic and research initiatives.

  • UCM at APAIE 2025 in New Delhi

    From 24 to 28 March 2025, UCM participated in the APAIE 2025 Conference and Exhibition held at the state-of-the-art Yashobhoomi India International Convention & Expo Centre in Dwarka, New Delhi, India.

    Our delegation had the opportunity to network with more than 2,300 professionals from 68 countries, participate in thematic discussions and discuss possible cooperation in areas such as student and staff mobility, researcher exchange and international programme development.

  • UCM at NAFSA 2025 in San Diego

    From 27-30 May 2025, UCM participated in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference and Exhibition, held at the San Diego Convention Center in California.

    UCM's leadership team attended key networking sessions and spoke with potential partners from around the world. Our delegation established promising strategic conversations focused on international mobility, joint research projects and future collaborations.
