Brief description of the project: 

The project is interdisciplinary in nature, responding to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in the natural, health, social, human and economic sciences. It integrates the knowledge and skills of the creative staff of UCM in Trnava and provides answers to two fundamental problems: increasing the capacity of infrastructure and human resources for diagnostics and medical assistance in real time and solving serious social problems due to the isolation of individuals.
The project will equip a modern experimental research infrastructure, Virology Laboratory usable in case of other pandemic waves and diagnostics, will build a Laboratory of Virtual Physiotherapy for the implementation of physiotherapy in virtual reality, Research Center for Crisis Management, Center for Research on Social Impact Impacts, Psychological Intervention Center and Center for Psychological Intervention bioethics as part of the University Science Park. 

The project will make it possible to stabilize existing and create new researcher jobs. 

It mobilizes parts of the university to solve current problems caused by the COVID-19 virus: 

1. Prevention and protection against coronavirus infection;
2. Health / hygiene technologies for patient diagnosis and therapy;
3. Diagnostics and testing;
4. Protection of population and social values. 

The place of implementation of the project will be the premises of the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava – Trnava and Špačince.
