Slovak scientists with the highest Hirsch index
The Hirsch index (H-index or h-index) is one of the international indicators of a scientist's performance and reflects the number of own scientific studies, which are highly quoted by the professional public. For example, a value of 10 indicates shows that 10 articles by the author have 10 or more citations.
The H-index is a reflection of scientific performance. In the ranking of Slovak scientists with an H-index higher than 30 (calculated in Google Scholar; https://www.slovenskivedci.sk/ ), UCM has the following representatives:
Prof. Roman Boča - h-index: 44 in the field of inorganic chemistry
Prof. Stanislav Miertuš - h-index: 38 in the field of bioanalytical chemistry
Prof. Štefan Janeček - h-index: 41 in the field of molecular biology
Prof. Roman Horváth - h-index: 35 in the field of economics
