UCM invites teaching and non-teaching staff from foreign cooperating universities to the second edition of the annual International Staff Week 2023.

The event will take place from November 13 to 17, 2023. The main idea of the event is AI as a new definition of the future of education. Academics will address the topic of the benefits of using AI in the educational process in higher education institutions. The process of digitization and the use of AI in administrative processes is another topic that will interest non-teaching staff.

Last year's International Staff Week saw a great turnout, when 28 participants from 9 different universities from 6 different European countries visited UCM: Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia.

"We hope that this year UCM will welcome the same, if not more, number of employees from partner institutions, for whom we are preparing a week-long varied program primarily focused on areas in which artificial intelligence has the potential to influence the educational process in the environment of higher education institutions," said Nikoleta Vanková from Departments of international relations of the UCM, which Staff Week organizes in cooperation with other parts of the UCM. 

"We are looking forward to the opportunity to establish new contacts and expand our international network of professional relationships. Together we can contribute to the development of global cooperation and cultivate new ideas and perspectives that propel us forward," said the vice-rector for international relations doc. PhDr. Andrea Čajková, PhD.
