The SEWA organization has awarded our university with a Green Certificate for ensuring the environmentally friendly recycling and processing of electronic waste and portable batteries and accumulators in 2022 through the SEWA, a.s. producer responsibility organization.

SEWA is an authorized producer responsibility organization for electronic waste, batteries, packaging, and non-packaging products. It assists companies, institutions, municipalities, and cities in responsibly disposing of old electrical devices and batteries. It helps importers and producers of electrical devices, batteries, and accumulators, as well as packaging, to meet legislative standards arising from waste management laws.

SEWA is a member of the European Recycling Platform (ERP), which provides compliance with legal obligations for electrical devices, packaging, and batteries across Europe.
