Education to be the Focus of the Educom 2023 Conference

Experts will discuss current trends in psychosocial support in education and preparation for active aging in the process of inclusive education on December 7.

The aim of the 9th edition of the international scientific conference is to create a space for the presentation and communication of the following questions:

  • possibilities of psychosocial support in contemporary education at the primary and secondary levels,
  • possibilities of psychosocial support in contemporary education at the tertiary level,
  • educational aspects of active aging,
  • skills and competencies of educators in the context of inclusive education.

"Diversity and variety in schools, as well as in society, should be perceived as something natural and common, and therefore, psychosocial support in education is essential, which can increase the chances of success for all students. In the intentions mentioned, it is worth noting that not only children and youth enter educational institutions and institutions, but also adults and seniors. Aging processes are a natural part of everyone's life without exception, and educational systems must deal with the challenge of ensuring the preparation of all students for active aging and further education," say the organizers from the Faculty of Philosophy at UCM.

A monothematic collection of scientific studies in the Pedagogica Actualis series will be published from the scientific conference. The conference will be held in a combined form, with in-person attendance at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius and online participation through the MS TEAMS web platform for international participants.
