UCM participated in a trade fair for higher education in Perth, Australia

An international trade fair for higher education, APAIE 2024 (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education), took place in the western Australian city of Perth from March 4th to 8th, 2024.

UCM was represented at this global event by the Rector, Prof. Katarína Slobodová Nováková, and the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Andrea Čajková. Their attendance was part of the Slovak delegation of representatives and delegates from Slovak universities, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development, and Youth, led by State Secretary Mr. Róbert Zsember. Representatives from universities from more than 60 countries around the world attended this event.

During the three days of the fair, UCM established dozens of interesting collaborations, particularly with Asian universities, which will translate into new mobility projects, student exchanges, joint "Summer schools," cooperation within research teams, and joint publishing activities in the future.

The participation in this event was financially supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan project: "Support for the promotion of universities abroad," which UCM received.

We look forward to new partnerships and international cooperation in the fields of education, science, and research.
