UCM RESEARCH PORTFOLIO

The UCM research portfolio combines educational sciences, psychology, historical sciences, philology, and philosophy/theology into one dynamic ecosystem. We are building inclusive education, modern university pedagogy, and a safe school environment; we are developing diagnostic and intervention procedures in psychology; we are researching cultural heritage and identities, language and communication in the age of technology, as well as bioethical issues concerning humans and technology.

Our centers and laboratories (e.g., Center for University Pedagogy, Psychological Laboratory with the SCHUHFRIED system, Interpreting Laboratory, Center for Bioethics) bring measurable results to practice: from computer educational games (Paidagogos) to psychodiagnostics and counseling to expertise for institutions such as schools, counseling centers, RTVS, and UNESCO.

We combine research, data, and ethics for better education, healthier communities, and a sustainable society.
