UCM Rector's Directive on Tuition Fees and Fees Associated with Studies

Tuition fees for the academic year 2024/2025 and study-related fees for the academic year 2024/2025

In accordance with Section 92 of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts, as amended, Section 33 of the Statute of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava and the Directive on Tuition Fees and Fees Associated with the Study of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava. Cyril and Methodius, I determine the amount of fees associated with studies for the academic year 2024/2025 and the amount of tuition fees for a student enrolled in the first year of study and a student enrolled in the supersecondary school in the academic year 2024/2025 as follows:

A: TUITION FEES

1. ANNUAL TUITION FEES FOR EXCEEDING THE STANDARD LENGTH OF STUDY:

2.000 EUR

Applies to students in first, second and third cycle programmes of study and students in joint degree programmes.

Tuition fees due to study longer than the standard length of the study programme concerned shall be determined as a pro rata part of the annual tuition fee, depending on the number of credits to be obtained by the student in the academic year concerned in relation to the student's standard workload.

This shall not apply if the student studies a programme of study for longer than the standard length of the programme of study because of participation in academic mobility within the framework of an exchange programme while complying with the conditions of that exchange programme, or if the student was awarded a social grant in the last year of study during the standard length of study of the programme of study in question, the obligation to pay tuition fees shall not arise in the next year of study following that in which the standard length of study is exceeded.

2. ANNUAL TUITION FEES FOR EXCEEDING THE STANDARD LENGTH OF STUDY:

It applies to students in first-, second- and third-degree programmes of study and students in combined programmes of study who have already obtained a university degree at a given level of study.

3. ANNUAL TUITION FEES FOR CONCURRENT STUDIES:

1.000 EUR

Applies to students studying two or more programmes of study at the same level in the same academic year.

4. ANNUAL TUITION FEES IN STUDY PROGRAMMES CONDUCTED IN A LANGUAGE OTHER THAN THE NATIONAL LANGUAGE:

5. ANNUAL TUITION FEES FOR FOREIGNERS FROM THIRD COUNTRIES WITHOUT PERMANENT RESIDENCE:

2.500 EUR

It applies to students in first-, second- and third-degree programmes of study and students in combined programmes of study who have already obtained a university degree at a given level of study.

The costs associated with sending the documents and other documents referred to in this Article by post, if not included in the amount of the fee, shall be charged in accordance with the current price list of postal services.

14. FEES FOR CONFIRMATION OF INTERIM STUDY RESULTS:
