Study applicants with specific needs

A university is not only a place of learning, but also a space where equality, respect and understanding for every individual is promoted, regardless of their specific needs or disabilities. Modern educational institutions recognise that inclusion is key to creating a diverse and enriching academic community.

Within every student is the potential to achieve great things. The University stands with each individual and offers them the tools and opportunities to achieve their goals, regardless of their handicap or the challenges they face.

You can get into some faculties or the Institute of Management without an entrance exam.

However, some faculties do have entrance exams. Applicants should contact the faculty coordinator well in advance (usually 1 month before the entrance examination) in order to ensure that the entrance examination is conducted in a reasonable manner.

The Faculty Coordinator informs the Vice-Dean for Education and the relevant departments about applicants with specific needs and, in agreement with the Study Department, together determine the form of the entrance examination and the way it will be conducted, taking into account the specific needs of the applicant.

The applicant's specific need must not be a reason for non-admission. (The Faculty of Health Sciences has an exception according to the Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic No.364/2009 Coll., because you also need physical prerequisites for physiotherapy).
