Required documents: motivation letter in AJ, approval of the Erasmus coordinator of the component.
The selection procedure will take place at faculty level, the faculty will report the result to the International Relations Department and send the nomination tables and the minutes of the selection procedure.
We would like to inform you about the opportunity to participate in a unique international project entitled "Board and Serious Games & Vivanta Kulturo: Bridging Generations through Cultural Heritage" (2023-1-PT01-KA131-HED-000118058-5). This project offers the opportunity to work together with students from different countries on innovative projects that use board and serious games to promote intergenerational communication, preserve cultural heritage and promote cultural diversity.
What is the project about?
The project focuses on the creation and use of serious and board games as educational tools that promote learning, teamwork and social interaction between different generations. The project will include:
Workshops and lectures on the topic, development and testing of prototype games that will focus on cultural heritage,

working with cultural institutions and communities to create games that bring different generations together,

organising training and evaluation activities for selected target groups.
The course will run during AR 2024/2025, with a visit to Porto scheduled for early May 2025. The full timetable and content of the course can be found in this document.
What is expected of you?
Active participation in all project activities, including online courses and face-to-face meetings.
Teamwork with international partners from universities in Portugal, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain and Latvia.
Creativity and openness to develop new games that will serve not only for fun, but also for education and social cohesion.
Who can apply?
We are looking for 4 students and 4 alternates who are interested in game design, culture and intergenerational communication. It doesn't matter the field, what matters is your motivation and willingness to learn new things.
