Affiliate Network
The PIDVE project is built on an extensive network of formalized partnerships that bring together science, education, culture, and landscape conservation across borders.
International Academic Partnerships
At the core of the network are 162 partner universities and research institutions from 43 countries around the world with which the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava has valid bilateral agreements—Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) or Inter-Institutional Agreements under the Erasmus+ (IIA). These partnerships span all regions of the world and include leading institutions specializing in soil science, pedology, ecology, sustainable agriculture, and ethnology.
Other Collaborations
In addition to formalized partnerships, the PIDVE project collaborated with experts in the fields of ecotourism, agritourism, and forest tourism, whose case studies and field research enriched the final collection of case studies with concrete examples of best practices from Slovak regions.
An integral part of the project is the collaboration with the Research Collections of the Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV), v. v. i., whose archival photographic materials form the basis of the project’s historical-ethnological section and the photographic set in Output V 6.1.
