Scientific Council of UCM

The UCM Scientific Council (hereinafter referred to as "UCM SC") is a body of academic self-government of UCM. Appointment and dismissal of members of the UCM SC is under the authority of the Rector of UCM after approval of the proposal in the AS UCM. The Rector of UCM is the ex-officio chairman of the UCM SC. The UCM CoR annually evaluates the qualification development of the UCM staff community, which is included in the UCM Annual Report. The competence of the UCM SC is defined in Section 12 of Act No 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Acts.
