Call for teachers, researchers and professional staff of the University
Published: 6.6.2025
The University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava invites all its lecturers, researchers and professional staff to join the mentoring programme organised by the UCM Alumni Club. The aim is to create a platform where experienced university staff can share their knowledge and experience with alumni to help them start or further develop their careers.
The UCM Alumni Club aims to strengthen the relationship between the university and its alumni, to promote the link between education and practice and to create a space for mutual cooperation, communication and exchange of experience. Mentoring is one of the ways in which we can help alumni to find a career while developing a community based on trust and expertise.
You, as experienced educators, researchers and professionals in the role of mentors, can offer your knowledge and experience to help UCM graduates gain practical advice, inspiration and a better orientation in their professional direction.
Your involvement makes a big difference and contributes to building a strong community built on collaboration, trust and mutual support.
📅 Program flow:
Mentoring will take the form of short online sessions, which alumni will book through an online booking system (available via a web link).
Mentors will self-determine their available dates (date and time), which will be posted on the system. The graduate selects the mentor and the specific available consultation date from the offer.
Once the booking has been created, the mentor will receive an automatic notification. Upon confirmation, the graduate will also be informed of the approval.
The meeting will take place online via MS Teams on the agreed date. During the consultation there will be space for exchange of experiences, discussion and advice in the spirit of the programme's aim - to support graduates in their professional and personal development.
