What does EURAXESS support?
EURAXESS provides a wide range of services and support tools aimed at facilitating researcher mobility across Europe. It offers practical information on job opportunities, funding and grant schemes, visa requirements, taxation, social security and other legal or administrative aspects related to international mobility.
In addition to online resources, a key element of the network is personalised support delivered through national and regional EURAXESS service centres. These centres offer free assistance to both domestic and international researchers throughout all stages of their mobility process.
EURAXESS support is delivered through four main tools:
EURAXESS Jobs
An online platform offering a free database of research jobs, fellowships and funding opportunities across Europe. Researchers can publish their CVs and search for positions, while research institutions can advertise vacancies and recruit suitable experts at the European and global level.
EURAXESS Services
A network of national service centres providing tailored guidance and practical support related to mobility, including residence permits, healthcare, housing, schooling and integration in the host country.
EURAXESS Rights
Information on the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, outlining rights, responsibilities and professional standards in the research environment.
EURAXESS Links
Global platforms connecting European researchers working outside Europe with European research organisations, supporting networking, cooperation and return mobility.
What does the EURAXESS Service Centre offer?
The EURAXESS Service Centre provides free information and advisory services to researchers, PhD candidates and academic staff. Its mission is to assist with practical issues related to mobility, administrative procedures and integration, helping researchers focus on their academic and professional development.
