Professor Katarína Slobodová Nováková says about her work at EWORA: "Supporting women in leadership positions in the academic sector helps to build an innovative, diverse, and dynamic environment. Gender equality in higher education and research promotes a more equitable distribution of opportunities, which increases the competitiveness and quality of academic institutions and supports overall social progress. I repeatedly emphasize these aspects in the Slovak academic environment and believe that, thanks to improved working conditions in academia, women will be able to assert themselves in a demanding and performance-oriented environment."
