UCM graduate Zuzana Šujanová: Volunteering shows that people are responsible, committed and adaptable

She has been involved in various forms of volunteering since 2014. She is the founder and manager of the Trnava Region Volunteer Center, a civic association where she fulfills her dream of raising awareness about volunteering among all good people and organizations in the Trnava Region.
Not everyone is fully aware of the exact definition of the word volunteering. Could you explain what it means?
Od roku 2011 existuje a law about volunteering, which states that it is an activity performed for the benefit of others, based on free will, in one's free time and without remuneration. Anyone can engage in volunteer work in various fields. For example, social work, humanitarian organizations and human rights organizations, cultural activities, environmental protection, sports, and educational activities.
