Are you interested in the admissions process? Do you want to know what courses you’ll take during your studies? Are you thinking about what you can do after graduation? Or are you simply curious about what it’s like to be a student at UCM? This fall, you’ll have several opportunities to ask these questions in person to representatives of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava.
Once again this year, UCM will be participating in select fairs and events, where we’ll introduce prospective students to our academic offerings, individual faculties, degree programs, and university life. Meeting with university representatives in person is an opportunity to learn more than what you’ll find on our website. Stop by our booth and ask us any questions you may have.
Where can you find UCM this fall?
In the fall of 2026, you’ll find us at several events for prospective college students in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Our first events will take place in September at the “Kam na vysokú” college fairs. These events are primarily intended for high school students who are deciding on their next steps in education and want to compare the options offered by different universities.

Eastern Slovakia Gaudeamus
Immediately following the “Where to Go to College” fairs, we’ll continue on to eastern Slovakia. The Gaudeamus Košice Region 2026 fair will feature numerous universities and other educational institutions. The event focuses on post-high-school education and offers students a supporting program, lectures, and counseling services.

Science Night
European Science Night (September 25, 2026) is a slightly different kind of event. It’s not just about choosing a university—it introduces visitors to the world of science, research, and innovation through science booths, lectures, discussions, and workshops. UCM will also be participating in the event. Visitors will thus have the opportunity to learn about our university’s scientific and research activities from a slightly different perspective.
The 20th anniversary edition of the European Night of Science will take place in Bratislava, Košice, Banská Bystrica, Žilina, and Poprad. This year’s theme is “The Power of Science: How We Can Shape Our Future.”
Gaudeamus in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
The Bratislava Gaudeamus (October 6–8, 2026, Incheba Expo Bratislava, Hall D) is one of the largest events of its kind and will once again offer a space to meet with Slovak and international universities. During the fair, visitors can obtain information about degree programs, the admissions process, and opportunities for further education.
We will also be represented at the Gaudeamus Fair in Brno (October 20–23, 2026, Brno Exhibition Center, Pavilion V). This fair is one of the most important events for those interested in pursuing higher education in the Czech Republic and abroad.
We will conclude our fall series of events in Nitra (November 3–4, 2026, Agrokomplex Nitra, Pavilion F), where UCM will present itself at the Gaudeamus Nitra fair. The event will take place at Agrokomplex, and visitors can look forward to presentations by universities and information on opportunities for further study.
