The Department of Academic Affairs is primarily responsible for the following tasks:

  • ensures the digitization of UCM’s processes and services with the aim of increasing efficiency, transparency, and user convenience for employees, students, and other users;
  • analyzes existing processes at UCM and proposes their optimization through information and digital technologies;
  • designs, develops, implements, and manages internal digital systems, applications, and solutions that support the university’s operations;
  • ensures the integration and interconnection of UCM’s information systems and external systems used by the university;
  • coordinates and implements the development of new digital tools and functionalities that support management, education, science, research, and administrative processes at UCM;
  • ensures the development of UCM’s websites and provides methodological support to their administrators;
  • prepares technical specifications, analyses, and supporting documentation for the development of UCM’s digital infrastructure and information systems;
  • monitors new technological trends and proposes their application within the UCM context;
  • provides methodological and consulting support to UCM’s organizational units in the implementation of digital solutions and the digitization of processes;
  • collaborates with other UCM organizational units in the design, implementation, and evaluation of digital projects;
  • manages user requirements related to the development of digital solutions and coordinates their implementation;
  • performs other related tasks and activities.
