UCM Student Satisfaction Increased Year-on-Year

That's according to the results of a nationwide survey assessing student satisfaction at hotnot.to, which compares data for 2024 and 2025.

UCM's overall score in 2025 was 119.07 points. The University continues to remain in the satisfaction range and confirms its stable position among Slovak universities.

Significant improvement at FMK and FZV

Among the UCM faculties, the Faculty of Mass Media Communication and the Faculty of Health Sciences recorded the most significant year-on-year improvement. FMK is one of the faculties that have improved the most year-on-year, and now achieves a high level of student satisfaction.

The Faculty of Health Sciences has made a particularly significant shift. It has moved from the dissatisfaction band to above the satisfaction band year-on-year, signalling a positive trend in students' perception of the quality of their studies.

Stable above-average satisfaction in other faculties

Faculties with long-standing strong ratings, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Social Sciences, although experiencing slight fluctuations in their scores, continue to maintain above-average levels of satisfaction.

A positive finding is that in 2025, none of the UCM faculties are in the dissatisfaction zone, so the quality of the learning environment across the university is progressing.

The data confirms the long-term stability of UCM

The survey results are statistically robust and highly reliable according to the methodology. UCM has been in the satisfaction band for a long time and is one of the most stable Slovak universities. Year-on-year comparisons show that the internal environment is gradually improving from the students' point of view.
