Employee Benefits at UCM

Benefits include:

  • Recreation allowance (pursuant to Act No. 91/2010 Coll. on the Promotion of Tourism).
  • Multisport card for sports activities (with a contribution of €6 from the employer and €4 from the social fund).
  • SAMSUNG employee portal, offering discounted purchases of this brand’s products.
  • Upon agreement with a supervisor, the option to work from home once a week in certain departments.

Employees are also entitled to:

  • Employees are entitled to a contribution to their retirement savings plan (Pillar III) of up to 3% of their salary (up to a maximum of 55 euros) per month.
  • If interested in furthering their education, employees are eligible for discounts on tuition and fees (however, the employee must be employed full-time). Union members receive continuing education at no cost.
  • The employer will provide an employee who has worked for more than 2 years with a contribution of up to 70% of the cost of the habilitation or inauguration proceedings; however, the employee must work an additional 3 years after obtaining the degree (otherwise, the contribution must be repaid).
  • If the average monthly earnings do not exceed 687 euros, the employer contributes toward the employee’s commuting expenses.
  • Once a year (usually in October), each employee will receive a one-time allowance for rest and relaxation.
  • Upon request, the employer will provide a non-repayable financial contribution of 200 euros to an employee upon the birth of a child.
  • Upon request, the employer will provide an employee with a non-repayable financial contribution of 200 euros in the event of the death of a spouse or a family member of the employee.
  • Upon request, the employer will provide a non-repayable financial contribution of up to 200 euros to an employee in the event of extraordinary natural disasters.
  • Upon request, the employer will provide a non-repayable financial contribution of up to 200 euros to an employee in the event of a serious illness or severe injury requiring long-term recovery, to cover the cost of medications or specialized medical examinations (if such products and services are not covered by insurance).
  • For donating blood, the employer will provide the employee with 30 euros upon presentation of proof.
  • For voluntary bone marrow donation, the employer will provide the employee with 50 euros upon verification.
  • The employer will also provide the employee with a one-time bonus upon receiving the Jánsky Plaque, depending on the type of award.
  • The employer will provide employees who have worked for more than 2 but less than 5 years with a payment of 300 euros upon reaching their 50th or 60th birthday.The employer will provide employees who have worked for more than 5 years with a 500-euro bonus upon reaching their 50th or 60th birthday.
