Children's University returns to Trnava. Children will once again experience the summer as university students
This is a daily summer camp at Trnava universities, which allows children to learn about science from a different perspective and develop their natural curiosity.
The Learning Trnava Project starts logging in for the popular summer event Children's University 2026, which is being created in cooperation with the Lifestarter organization and Trnava universities - the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava (UCM) and the University of Trnava (TRUNI).
Children's University is designed for children aged 7 to 12 who want to develop their curiosity, creativity and logical thinking during the holidays. The program is inspired by the environment of university studies, but adapted to be understandable, playful and engaging for children.

Program at and outside universities
During one week, participants will experience what it's like to be a real student - they will have a ceremonial matriculation, interactive lectures, practical workshops and experiential activities from various fields, from science and technology to art and social issues. The program will be led by teachers and experts from partner universities, who will introduce children to even more complex topics in an understandable way.
Activities will take place at several university workplaces. The main part of the program will take place at the UCM Institute of Management, while other activities will be prepared by the TRUNI Faculty of Education, Philosophy and Law. The children will also visit the Faculty of Health Sciences of UCM in Piešťany and take a day trip to the Čunovo Ecocenter.
The event will culminate in a graduation ceremony, during which participants will symbolically receive a certificate of graduation.

The aim of the Children's University is to show children that learning can be a natural part of discovering the world. The event creates a space where children ask questions, try new things and develop their talents. It is also one of the projects of cooperation between Trnava universities, which together bring the academic environment closer to the youngest.
Practical information for parents
The Children's University 2026 will take place from 6 to 10 July 2026, daily from 7:30 to 15:30. Children will be taken care of throughout the week - a program in small groups, qualified animators, health supervision and food are provided.
Registration is via online forms on the Learning Trnava project website. The capacity of the event is limited, so the organizers recommend that parents register their children as soon as possible.

Children's University offers children a summer that is both fun and meaningful - full of new knowledge, experiences, and friendships.
