UNIVERSITY OF SS. CYRIL AND METHODIUS IN TRNAVA

We would like to inform you that due to scheduled maintenance and migration work, there will be a planned outage of the information and communication technology and information systems at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava from 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, until midnight on Friday, July 24, 2026. the information and communication technologies and information systems of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava will be undergoing a scheduled outage.

During the outage, university information systems and services may be completely or partially unavailable, in particular:

• AiS2,

• university web applications,

• authentication and login services,

• and other information systems operated by UCM.

We ask all employees and students to plan their work, academic, and administrative responsibilities so that any tasks dependent on the aforementioned systems are completed before the outage begins.

We specifically advise newly admitted students to take this downtime into account when planning to meet the deadlines set by their faculties.

We also inform newly admitted students that access to the Microsoft 365 environment (including university email and SharePoint) will be available starting September 1, 2026. For this reason, all important information intended for newly admitted students will be published in a way that makes it accessible even without logging into a university account.

After the outage ends, individual services will be gradually restored. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or schedule changes, we will notify users in a timely manner.
