Cooperation with Universidade Paulista in São Paulo takes shape

The University of São Paulo (UNIP) offers a wide range of study programs in areas such as communication, management, design, healthcare, IT, environmental studies, law, engineering, education, psychology, and more. UNIP is one of the largest and most influential private universities in Brazil.

"We symbolically sealed our long-standing friendship with UNIP with a personal meeting between the management of both institutions and a discussion on further opportunities for cooperation in the field of internationalization of education, research, and mobility," says Andrej Brník, Vice-Rector for Development and Public Relations. He was joined on his visit to the university in February by Vice-Rector for International Relations Andrea Čajková and Head of the Project Center Barbora Jančíová.

UNIP significantly supports internationalization through participation in international mobility programs, projects, and academic conferences. It is also part of programs that offer study abroad, Erasmus+, and other exchange programs.

It also offers partner institutions the possibility of a scholarship stay during the semester, which creates space for the exchange of students and teachers without additional financial burden.

Partnerships outside the EU also make sense

It might seem that the university should focus primarily on the European area. However, experience shows that expanding the international network of contacts beyond the old continent is strategically important.

UCM strives to actively develop international cooperation and increase its visibility abroad so that it is prepared for upcoming opportunities.

Stronger international partnerships and the university's good reputation create a natural basis for participation in joint projects and for obtaining external resources for the development of the internationalization of education and research.
