UCM creates a base for professional judokas
Our university recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Slávia UCM Academic Sports Club. This agreement builds on the university's long-term efforts to develop the sporting environment and create conditions for the professional growth of students and sports representatives.
The aim of the new cooperation is to build high-quality facilities for competitive and professional judokas. These athletes are among the successful representatives of the Slovak Republic, and UCM wants to enable them to combine their demanding sports careers with their studies. The university will thus provide not only academic support but also modern sports facilities that will contribute to their overall development.
The agreement covers several areas of cooperation, from support for the training process and access to the university's sports infrastructure to the organization of joint sports and representative events. The common goal of UCM and AŠK Slávia UCM is to create conditions in which athletes can grow, achieve excellent results, and represent the university at home and abroad.
"Supporting athletes is a natural part of the university's mission. We are proud to be a partner that helps young people develop not only their intellect but also their physical abilities and character," emphasized UCM Rector Katarína Slobodová Nováková.
