Every student faces challenges from time to time, whether it's academic matters, personal problems or career development issues. The University provides a diverse range of support centres and services that are there to help you through challenging times.
It doesn't matter what problem you are facing. The University is ready to help and provide the support you need to successfully manage your studies and personal life through these institutions.
- The Psychology Centre provides free counselling to University students to help them cope with challenging periods or personal problems. The team of professionals offers individual care tailored to the needs of each client. The aim of the centre is to contribute to the emotional well-being and resolution of students' mental health problems.
- The Spiritual Services Center offers support to members of the campus community in the areas of spiritual growth and pastoral care. Students can participate in activities aimed at finding inner peace and balance. The Center provides a space for reflection, conversation, and engagement in community activities.
- The Counselling and Advice Centre for Students from Socially Disadvantaged Backgrounds and Students with Special Needs is here for students who need specific support as a result of social or health disadvantage. The Centre helps to create equal opportunities for successful completion of studies. Students can also get legal advice and support in dealing with difficult life situations.
- The Buddy Programme is an initiative that connects new students with volunteers who help them find their way around the university. The programme encourages students to adapt more easily to the academic environment and helps create a sense of belonging. In addition to practical information, it also provides emotional support and a space to form new friendships.
- The Science, Research and Arts Support Services Centre is a source of information and support for students and staff engaged in scientific research or creative projects. It provides expert advice, helps with project applications and organises workshops on research-related topics. Doctoral students can also find help in developing their academic careers.
- The Career Centre is a place where students can find information on current job offers and internships. The centre regularly organises workshops and lectures on topics that help prepare for the job market.

- The UCM Euraxess Centre is an important source of information and support when planning study or research stays abroad. It helps in areas ranging from finding job and grant opportunities to practical help with administration, visas or navigating social and health issues. Through this network, students gain easier access to international experiences, new research opportunities and contacts that can significantly support their professional and career development.
Ombudspersons and coordinators
The University also has specialised positions and committees dedicated to the specific needs of students:
