By spreading knowledge of high-quality science, we can raise a generation of young people who will be enthusiastic about science and ready to tackle the scientific challenges of the future.

Science is not just an academic matter; its purpose is to be applicable in everyday life.

The best projects from FPPV in 2025 will announce their winners

On December 11, 2025, the university symbolically concluded another successful project year. The final presentation of university projects provided an opportunity for researchers to present the results of several months of intensive work and show how their ideas and research are advancing the university.

The UCM Doctoral Academy honored doctoral students and young researchers for the year 2025.

The Council of the UCM Doctoral Academy awarded financial prizes to doctoral students and young researchers whose results confirm the growing quality of science, research, and artistic creation at our university. A total of €7,200 in financial prizes was distributed.

UCM has launched the excellent research WATCH - Society in the Mirror of Water. Expert team of partners discussed for the first time

Dnes sa uskutočnilo prvé stretnutie expertného tímu projektu WATCH – Spoločnosť v zrkadle vody, ktorý má ambíciu vybudovať na Slovensku komplexný systém epidemiológie odpadových vôd. Ide o historicky prvú takto rozsiahlu interdisciplinárnu spoluprácu, do ktorej vstupujú akademické, výskumné aj priemyselné inštitúcie.

Hoci sa v tomto prostredí pohybujú prirodzene, politickému obsahu, s ktorým sa tam stretávajú, často nerozumejú. Výskum Fakulty masmediálnej komunikácie UCM v Trnave ukázal, že Generácia Z má problém rozpoznať politickú reklamu, nerozlišuje medzi názorom, informáciou a manipuláciou a nevie, čo je dezinformácia.
